Background
DMJ Transport started as a taxi operation between the rural areas of the Eastern Cape and Cape Town during the early 90s. The owner, David Jwambi single-handedly developed this operation into a fully-fledged luxury coach operation. Up until 1999, DMJ Transport operated from a container turned office in a backyard in Langa Township. It's head office is situated at Cape Town Station and offices in Johannesburg Park City, Pretoria Station, Engcobo, Queenstown, Nqgamakwe, Mount Frere, King Williams Town and East London operate as satellite offices servicing the towns of Port Elizabeth, King William's Town, Grahamstown, Umtata, Butterworth and Idutywa. We provide an opportunity for all our staff members to develop individually, but also for the benefit of the company. Black woman form 90% percent of management and at least 38% of our staff complement. We run a daily operation between Cape Town and Umtata using the N2 route and between Cape Town and East London via the Garden Route. We have also started the Cape Town & East London to Johannesburg routes (see our routes for more information.) We hire out our couches for private use to schools, sport and organized parties.
Outstanding Service Quality
We run a variety of coaches from semi-luxury to Super luxury coaches and some are fitted with radio, television, video and DVD equipment for your entertainment.
